GOING BACK TO THE FIELD
FARMER: GILBERTO ROCHA
As we approach the “La Carolina” farm we enter not only a crop, but also the history of a man with a coffee tradition named Gilberto. Smiling, she gives us a warm welcome along with a painting of her family, telling us about her childhood in the field among coffee plantations, with the guidance of her parents working and caring for the land. Later in his adolescence he would go to the National Army, where he worked most of his life in the jungles, serving his country.
